Christos Zefklis
Christos Zefklis was born in Montreal, Canada in 1970.
Along with his family he returned to Siatista, Greece in 1978. In 1988 he graduated from Trabantzeio Siatista High School. After high school graduation, he went to Bologna, Italy where he studied at the fashion design school Instituto Moda E Design, while at the same time he was working in a fur business. Upon his return to Greece in 1991, he studied at the business administration department of the Technological Educational Institute (T.E.I.) of Western Macedonia as well as at a private computer programming school.
He has been involved in multiple business fields such as entertainment, building construction and the wholesale of leather clothing.
His main occupation is to run the family business of clothing and footwear sales. Today he owns the company "Central Ltd." in Kozani, the online store Centraleshop.gr and - as of 2013 - a mink farm in Kaloneri of Voio.
He lives in Siatista and he is the father of three children.
Since 2019 he has been the Mayor of Voio. He has served as a municipal councilor in the years 1999 – 2000, 2006 – 2010 and 2010 – 2014. He has also served as the chairman of the municipal council in the years of 2000 – 2001.
He has participated in committees and boards of legal entities of the Municipality, as well as of sports and other clubs.
He participated in the 2004 Olympic Games as a volunteer in the position of safety officer at the Olympic Stadium. He is a voluntary blood donor.
He is a fluent English and Italian speaker.
